The cost of treatment and medicine can be overwhelming if you need care and do not have health insurance. The clinic offers several programs for moderate- and low-income families without health insurance or with high deductibles. Proof of income, which is kept confidential, is required to participate. The Health Access Program is a moderate-income program that offers reduced cost medical care based on a sliding fee. The lower your income, the less you will pay. If you have Medicare or health insurance with high deductibles or co-pays, and meet the income requirements, you are also eligible. There is a minimum charge for each visit. The cost of your visit, some laboratory tests, and some medications are covered under the program. Free and reduced cost medication is available to Health Access patients. The clinic maintains a wide variety of generic medication available at reduced costs. These medicines are dispensed for the clinic at Mace’s Pharmacy.
